The suspect in the shooting in New Albany, near Columbus, was no longer in the area and several were hospitalized, the authorities said.

A gunman injured several people on Tuesday evening at a cosmetics warehouse in suburban Columbus, the authorities in Ohio said.
The shooter was no longer believed to be in the area by early Wednesday, officials in the suburb of New Albany said in a statement. They did not say whether the person had been taken into custody or had fled.
Police were first alerted to the shooting at about 11 p.m. local time, and the city said the police were evacuating employees from the warehouse and urged residents to stay away from the area.
There were several victims in the shooting, which took place at a warehouse for a beauty brand called KDC/One, with several hospitalized, said Josh Poland, a spokesman for New Albany. He did not provide additional details.
KDC/One is a beauty and personal care company headquartered near Montreal. The company did not immediately respond to a request by email for comment.
